I have had too much wine and read too much of my novel, The Time Traveler's Wife. I am nearly done with it myself and don't want to finish it while I'm on the road alone. I have a knack for finishing novels on planes and sobbing into my tray table. It is an excellent bit of fiction and hits close to home on many levels. Reading about this couple makes me ache to be home with my husband. But I'm in a hotel room in Indiana and he's playing hockey halfway across the country. We seem years apart right now and yet closer than ever.

But while I'm almost done with the book myself, I'm less than halfway done with Rich, as I've been reading it out loud to him in the car. It's a special treat to read a book about time travel in two different places congruently.

Thank you all again for all your recommendations for reading material while on the road.
