I've been reading a bit about the president's reaction to Massachusetts' ruling on same sex marriage. Unfortunately, a lot of it just makes me very sad, so I don't read as much as I should. Oscar Wilde said that "language is the mother of thought." I suppose the definition of "marriage" has come into question as well, in our English language. The Hungarian language has no gender-specific pronouns like "he" or she". Seems that the debate on the sanctity of a marriage between a man and a woman would be a little more awkward to explain to a Hungarian.
