Bliss in Bedding — Genie Alisa

I am currently propped up in front of four pillows and lounging on two inches of Swedish foam that make up my new soft-side waterbed. I think I am actually resting on a new dimension of comfort. Mr. Mattress came over last night and set it up for me. It took him about an hour and a half from start to finish. I was pretty impressed. It was a little adventure in new bedding technology for me.

But waking up this morning was one of the most peaceful experiences I've had in a long time. I could roll over and see my dog curled up in her little dog bed next to mine and then look down and see the black goddess cat curled up on this magnificent mattress (we won't talk about the black goddess fur that she's getting all over my new comforter). And then it starts to lightly rain. Sigh.
