DLand - Go Team?

I feel ... disappointed. I'm not despondent. Just kind of glum. But I figure I'm entitled. Even cowgirls get the blues. I hung out with my parents last night. Let me tell you, they are the best. I showed up with my freshly washed mutt and Mom said that Daddy was out getting dinner (chicken take-out). So I had a seat and soon dinner was served (free food - woohoo!).

Dad said he wasn't hungry yet and wanted to use up some daylight. I found out this morning that he used up that daylight mowing my lawn. Geez. He didn't have to do that. But it earned him brownie points. Perhaps some computer tech support in return.

My parents always have great insight into things. They are pretty hip and rather intelligent. It's a joy to talk to them.

I asked Jeremy to be clueless for me yesterday.

Jer: "Oh, so you want me to act in the way that you've been mad about for all these years?"

Me: "Yes; but just this once."

Jer: "Oh! I see how it is. You want me to role play."

Me: "Yes. Pretend you're an idiot. It's for a good cause."

Jer: "Fair enough. Do I get any character points for it?"

Me: "Certainly. Don't know about character points, but you'll get points somehow."

We make quite a team sometimes - a weird team, but a team nonetheless.
