13 August 2017 - We have a "no hugging during meals" rule to restrain Ian's desire to cuddle while actively eating.

20 August 2017 - Our neighbor Ben got walkie-talkies for his 8th birthday. The three boys are yelling into them from all over the house and yard and it's like they don't really need them cause I can hear everything from the sofa with no walkie-talkie. 
"WHERE ARE YOU?"
"CAN YOU HEAR ME?"
"OVER!"
"DO YOU READ ME?"
"THIS IS AWESOME!"

23 August 2017 - So far on this commute we have covered sexual assault, consent, "tabling" (as in conversations), and port wine stains. #notforwusses #94months

30 August 2017 - Ian: "You are the best mommy. I wouldn't have all the things I do if it weren't for you. The only thing is if I had another mommy I'd get to go to Subway more often because you don't like Subway. But that's ok."
