We did no shopping today and it was wonderful. I have many thoughts on gift giving in general but I'm saving that for this month's LOL project (which is due Dec 6). Kim and Jack have come to visit us and that has also been a special treat. Thanksgiving was great for us. I agree with Jack, though, that in some ways I'd rather have two Thanksgivings and skip Christmas. But I have a few weeks to rally about that.
