Chugga chugga

We had a bit of a bonding evening today since Daddy was feeling under the weather. It was fries and ketchup and BIG COW and Chick-fil-a followed by a trip to Grandma and Granddaddy's and then riding the tricycle around the living room. He wasn't acting tired and I didn't really want to force the issue if I already had a sick husband in the bed so we opted to surf the web. He likes Facebook because I can pull up pictures of all our friends but his favorite is the sing-a-long section of Thomas. I'm not allowed to sing too, but I can sneak in a video here and there.

Morning commute

We've been a one car family this week as Grandma has been borrowing Daddy's car. Granddaddy took her car to the country so it's been a big shuffle. Since Daddy is the World's Worst Passenger, he's been driving my car and I've been co-chilling in the back with Ian. He hogs the window but he shares his snacks and sings good songs.

The great thing about living at the beach versus only visiting the beach is the off season. We were able to have dinner at Planet Pizza at the Oceanfront this evening and virtually have the restaurant to ourselves. And with a busy two-year-old that is an awesome thing! Ian could wander up and down the bench seat and exclaim his excitement over PIZZA and run around the arcade without bothering a soul. He and Daddy tried out the cheesy old pinball game there and Ian didn't really understand that the ball was under glass. He kept putting his face on it trying to get to the ball or swatting the glass like a cat. But a good time was had by all.
