I'm about 20 pages from the end of a fascinating book - Gay Marriage: Why It Is Good for Gays, Good for Straights, and Good for America by Jonathan Rauch. I strongly recommend this book to anyone even remotely curious about the title and its contents. Rauch's writing has helped clarify my views on not only gay marriage, but on marriage in general. It's been a long time since I've read something so clearly elaborated through rational discourse. I would give you a quote, but there's just too much of it that's clever and quotable.

It's well worth every penny of the hardcover price.
